At the end of 2023, the National Fair Housing Alliance, the Fair Housing Partnership of Greater Pittsburgh, and the Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania announced that they are intervening as plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit filed by DOJ against AION Management. In July DOJ filed a complaint asserting that AION, a large Philadelphia-based provider of rental housing, violated the Fair Housing Act by discriminating against persons with disabilities.
